The wine was just okay. The food consisted of frozen pizza and a platter that was quite overpriced. The staff wasn't friendly, and the restaurant's ambiance made it clear that the wine selection was not a priority. I realized why the wine was so underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend coming here for lunch—there's nothing worthwhile to eat, and the wine is pretty lackluster.

Don't waste your time stopping for lunch here. Lured in by the roadside signboards, we decided to grab a bite. The only option available was an antipasti platter, which cost 45 NZD for two. It felt a bit overpriced for just a couple of slices of bread, two slices of ham, some chorizo salami, and cheese. When we asked for olive oil, they didn't have any. We also wanted extra bread, but four mini slices cost an additional 2 NZD. At that point, we lost our appetite for coffee and cake.

The wine is enjoyable, but the wait time is excessive and the service leaves much to be desired, as the staff tends to be forgetful. We noticed that people who arrived after us and placed their orders later received their platters and drinks before we did.

We always have a wonderful time at Dyne and it’s definitely worth the drive! I highly recommend it to everyone. The food is fantastic, the staff is lovely, and the setting is beautiful. We also enjoyed your events; the high tea was fabulous, and the kids' Easter hunt was a lot of fun! We can’t wait for the wine tasting on our next visit.
