Batch Brine - Lafayette

I really feel like I just chose the wrong thing on the menu. The plate was so pretty when it arrived and I really liked the cabbage on top, but it quickly made the batter very soggy. So much so that I just ate the fish inside, which was a very small amount. Truthfully there was much more batter than fish. I would definitely go back to try their burgers. People all around me were ordering burgers and they looked amazing. So I will return. Just not for fish tacos.

Great atmosphere with outdoor seating. Dog friendly! Came on a Saturday around 4pm and was seated right away. They have a good happy hour menu from 3 to 5 that had delicious chicken tacos and beef taquitos for a good price. Loved the Mac and cheese that has a variety of add-on choices. The fries and pastrami sandwich were enjoyable. I just wish it had more meat. Also loved that they have a Mocktail menu, we tried the lavender haze and red stormy. The service was a little slow our waitress didn't know we were sat in her section, and then she didn't check on us much. Another kind server or runner was more attentive, bringing all our drinks and food plus water for our dog. Overall would recommend and will be back!

Excelent place for brunch. Corn dog bites and chicken waffle plus brunch cocktails were all delicious. The staff was super polite and friendly. An indication of great management and work satisfaction. We need more places like this.Parking: Street metered spots available.

Fun place for the family, watch a little bit of a game, people watch walking up and down the sidewalk, and enjoy a drink all at the same time. Food is always consistent in my experience counting, say, last 5 visits. Service has always been good. If you feel maybe not as attentive, just grab their attention, they're good about making sure they meet your needs. Parking may be a challenge during peak dining hours, and may have to park a block away. It's worth going there.
