Lappert's Ice Cream - Lahaina

I found a fantastic ice cream spot in a great central location. I was thrilled to finally get my hands on some Dole Whip! The ice cream parlor was clean, well-lit, and featured some fun decor, including a vintage Coca-Cola ice chest filled with cold sodas. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made my visit even better. As someone with allergies, I've often felt embarrassed asking for ingredient lists when there’s a line of people behind me. However, this employee had an ingredient list ready for me in just five seconds after I asked. It was such a welcoming experience for someone with allergies. Mahalo!

After having Dole Whip in California, I had pretty high expectations for it in Maui, but I was somewhat disappointed. To me, the flavor was better in California, and the texture here wasn't as smooth or thick. That said, it was still enjoyable. The fresh pineapple chunks were a nice addition, and the pineapple Gold is truly the best. The menu had plenty of options, but I only tried one bowl. Based on that experience, I would give this place 4 stars. It was a lovely treat on a really hot day.

It's a charming little corner shop with some outdoor seating. I tried the dole pineapple topped with fresh pineapple, and it was fantastic—smooth and creamy without being overly sweet. It was also incredibly refreshing. They have ice cream and other options available too. The customer service was excellent. When we visited, there was a short line, but it moved quickly.

There is a petite Lappert's shop located on the Lahaina front road near the port. Their ice cream is absolutely fantastic!
