Mellow Mushroom Lake Charles

The first time here and let me just say... WOW! The great Herbie Transformer statue catches our eye first and we had to make a picture, then we took a look around us and thought this place would be good. When you go in the atmosphere, is welcoming and cool. Our server Noah was amazing, made sure that we took care of some jokes and made the overall experience better than it was already! We have the Bretzel bites with beer cheese, spicy and regular and both tasted so good! We ordered a medium of powerful meat and the slices were so big I and my husband had one then taken the rest home. The food is delicious and by far our favorite pizza we have eaten from anywhere. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We're coming back!

I love this place! I never tasted pizza like that! You can say that everything that they put in this pizza is homemade or on the ground I am not sure whether they even make their own cheese, but every ingredient that is placed in these pizzas is all heartily sprinkled with love. One of the hardest foods is pizza because they are everywhere. After I go to Lake Charles Louisiana and go to the Melow mushroom, I haven't ordered pizzas ever since. This decor completely increases the bar on high quality ingredients, amazing customer service, and the environment and location top it all out. I love absolutely love that this is a mother and pop shop and I love the connections that everyone has with themselves, it is so genuine and authentic I think it plays a great role and why everything tastes so well. I would recommend this place for every occasion to be quite honest. I'll give 5 of 5 bucks.

The pizza is huge. The waitress was really nice. We ordered the Bretzel with beer cheese and it was delicious. Waiting was worth it because the pizza was fresh and perfect. The waitress refilled our drinks without asking us. 10/10

What can I say about this restaurant and my experiences here? ... Well to summarize it in a word......... Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! Lol... On a serious note, this is a wonderful place all around. Food is thoughtful and tasty, atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, activities for the children who are in the distance, fair prices, great staff, great drinks and to top it off they have LIVE MUSIC which is my favorite thing in this place. Pizza Pasta and Pizzicato!

My family and I have been coming here for several yrs. Let me start with the food.The food was good before, but I think it's gotten BETTER!! We've eaten here twice in a month and both times the pizza we ordered (Shiitake Mushroom House Special) where TRULY GREAT!! The COOKS made these particular PIZZAS PERFECT
