The Three Horseshoes - Leyburn

We were doing a wonderful circular walk from Leyburn, along the limestone crags of The Shawl, and back across country via Wensley. We stopped at the Three Horse Shoes for refreshment. A chilled orange juice and hot coffee was just right for two weary walkers. We just missed food service for the afternoon, but the view from the hostelry terrace across the valley was lovely. Large car park, great service and a nice looking menu means we shall return...

The food is great and very generous portions. A starter and mains left us full to bursting and we are no shrinking violets when it comes to eating. Well kept local ales, friendly welcoming staff and a lovely ambience resulted in a splendid evening. Thanks Aaron and the full crew including Mollie and Minne, the pub dogs.

Not bad little place. Nice on a sunny day and you can sit outside.can get busy quick so do recommend booking. Food was good. Order at bar but half table service was a little odd. Staff were friendly and helpful.
