Oasis Restaurant and Bar - LONGREACH

We had two dinners at this restaurant while in Longreach and was not disappointed....we found the prices to be reasonable for the standard of food offered....'get what you pay for' comes to mind....as I did hear some other guests saying that the restaurant was 'very expensive'. There is a strong Asian influence but also some good old Aussie favourites....On our first night I was not overly hungry so I ordered an entree as my main and that was not a problem for the staff....my meal was bought out with the rest of the mains in our party...which I have found to be a problem in some other restaurants.. The staff were friendly and attentive...worth a visit

Although the menu looks a little pricey, the food more than makes up for it. Dinner was so well presented and was so delicious. More than enough on the plate, so desert was skipped. The atmosphere was calming with soft country music in the background.

Food was delicious. Both our steaks were overdone otherwise I would have given a 5. Garlic bread and cheese bread were one of the best I have tasted. Friend had lamb and the sauce was amazing. Other friend had cauliflower soup and almost kicked the bowl. Another had pork chop an was impressed. The garlic sauce on our steak was delicious and veggies cooked perfectly. Sticky date home made is the best I have tasted. Just the steak needs to be perfected. Mine was well when I chose medium. Friends was medium/well when he chose rare. Service was great.

We stayed at the motel and had dinner and breakfast, everything was perfect better than some meals I have had in Brisbane. Their creamy garlic sauce is the best I think I have ever had

The meals at this restaurant are to die for. they have buffet and a la carte.We had the buffet which was great value for dinner and breakfast. Excellent survice
