Taco John's - Maquoketa

Not even open anymore got of work one day and the sign was tore down what’s going on with this town they lost their marbles Iowa man where men are men and hogs are nervous

Went to get food sat at speaker no one came went to window no one there either…. Had to go elsewhere to get food.

Food is usually good. the location is going downhill, i sat at the speaker for about 5-7 minutes, nobody said a thing, i drove around to the window and all the employees were standing around talking, not doing a thing. and instead of offering help, or taking my order, they just stared and said nothing.

I love this place!! Our Taco John's in Clinton closed and is now a coffee place. Many folks were REALLY upset, including ME! I take the back roads to Maquoketa, stock up on my faves at TJ's, put everything in an insulated bag, and enjoy hot food when I get home. Nancy and her crew are fantastic and friendly! The food is fresh, hot and deeeelicious!! LOVE the deluxe Potato Oles and Taco Bravos !!! I'm sad to see that the place is up for sale; if I could afford to buy it, I certainly WOULD!

Longest wait ever. Dining room closed and business is for sale.
