Windy City Grille - Maryville

My husband and I dined at this wonderful restaurant today, and it truly impressed us. Although there’s a lot of construction happening nearby, don’t let that deter you from visiting. Upon entering, we found it to be a sports bar with numerous TVs showing various sports events, creating a lively atmosphere. The interior was both intriguing and welcoming, and we were seated right away. Our server was exceptional—sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was outstanding, which is no small feat since my husband is quite particular. This place is a hidden gem, and we plan to make it a weekly tradition. I highly recommend giving it a try; you won’t regret it. We're even celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary dinner here!

The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. However, the atmosphere may not be suitable for children.

We arrived as a party of three adults. The first person ordered a Caesar salad, which was disappointing; the lettuce was not fresh at all. I ordered a Buffalo Wrap, but it was served warm instead of hot. The server took it back to correct the issue, but when it was returned, the food was just as bad. The third order was a Turkey and Bacon BLT, which was good. Finally, I had a Bloody Mary that was, quite frankly, the worst I've ever had in 40 years. I've been here twice, and both times have been incredibly disappointing.

There is never consistency with this place. You Have to be willing to go into this place expecting for the food to be absolute trash or really good. It is a gamble every time. The first three times my husband convinced me to go there I absolutely hated this place. Every waitress we have had has not been pleasant or personable. A week ago we decided to go back since they had wings and it was close to our house and they were the best wings I had ever had so it changed my outlook on this place. Fast forward to today and we decided to go and get the same food we got two weeks ago because we enjoyed it, absolute garbage. Some of my chicken wings were raw and there was no seasoning on them at all. All of our food was ordered to go so of course we didn't see this until getting back home. Unfortunately we wasted money because we threw it in the garbage and went and got something else to eat.

Great place, great eats, great service. I can’t wait to return
