I was disappointed they were no longer selling street tacos at 4:45pm but saving them for the dinner crowd.Be aware, for our group, they added a 20% “service fee” that seemed to me as their company set tip percentage, then the 7% tax was added to the meal and service fee/tip.Vegetarian options: Several items available. They didn’t describe enough to be good to me.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian optionsWheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Made a reservation for my parents' 35th wedding anniversary. Food took over an hour to be served, was subpar, we were in six, server forgot dad's dish, took an extra half hour for his to arrive while the rest of the party ate. They charge 20% mandatory tip, which in and of itself isn't an issue, but if that's the case then the experience should be impeccable, and it was far from it. Definitely won't be going again.Update: reading the other reviews, I can see these are common issues, and not a bad luck one-off occurrence. Read them for yourself and beware.
Had a reservation set ahead of time for family visiting out of town with a note that we were celebrating an anniversary. When we arrived our table was not ready and we accepted seating outdoors, only to be placed on a corner table which had gathered quite a bit of debri outside. Following that our food took 1+ hours to be served only to have one of our party not receive their dish well after everyone finished eating. Aside from what appeared to be an awkward indirect and reluctant offer for a drink on the house, no offer was made to adjust a $400 bill for the late and overall unfortunate service provided here. Food ranged from average to very poorly balanced flavor profile for the prices charged.
No salt, or pepper on the table. When asking for salt and pepper it was easily missed, and took too long. Food over all is bland. Which was huge for me. For the hefty price tag you are paying for your meal I feel like it is the Chef's job to taste what is going out. Considering to boot there is no salt, or pepper on the table. Great beer selection, and the drinks are very well thought out, and clever. So can some one explain to me the lost opportunity to do beer battered cod for fish, and chips? That was my dish for this evening. Standard pub fair, and my fish was over cooked, bland, and the batter tasted stale. Also I was heavily let down because the menu led me to believe I was getting a key lime tarter sauce. Instead I got a pungent, tart, salad dressing. The only thing that saved my meal was the standard Heinz 57 Tomato Ketchup that I asked for to finish my meal. When I go out for dinner I don't expect much. My expectations are very minimal. I expect my food seasoned. I want customer service, and our server delivered that. Except the no salt and pepper on the table for under seasoned food. My only other expectation is that the food quality matches the price tag. Unfortunately that was not delivered upon. Which is a shame because the empanadas were phenomenal as was the sauce that went with it plus the pickled onions. The brie also outstanding. The fries were very well seasoned yet the chicken fried steak fries was bland. That would be the chicken fried steak pieces, and the gravy. Fries were seasoned. The crab cake bites were also bland however dipped in that banana ketchup was definitely a save. So that leads me to my final part of this review, and that is with the overall consistency of the food it just was not there for the price tag. Certain food items were definitely fantastic. However my main course was not, and only 2 appetizers out of the 4 that we ordered were actually seasoned, and flavorful. Our server Nikki was fabulous, and attentive. Please do her the satisfaction that if you are going to serve bland food to accommodate the tables with salt and pepper. Thank you!
If you want delicious food, this is the place for you. We went the weekend and not to mention two weeks ago, the food is amazing and the drinks were delicious! Service was wonderful all around. Aubrey our server/bartender was amazing. The first time we went, we ordered the Crab Fritters for the appetizer both times. The Kale Caesar Salad was delicious, get extra dressing. We ordered the Salmon Rockafeller, garlic mashed potato, bacon, spinach, white wine sauce, grilled aspargus. YUMM. The Grilled Steak sandwich grilled sliced steak, arugula, red onion, cheddar, demi baguette, horseradish aioli, so tender. The weekend we had the Jumbo Lump Crab cakes whole grain mustard sauce and apple frisée salad, made just right and the Bistro Fillet which consisted of steak and grits: pimento grits, grilled broccolini, cajun butter – so delicious, the grits made just right, all delicious. The drinks from the water to the Honey I’m Home, The Margarita and the Tequila Smash were crafted to perfection. Go check them out. 28 N. Gastropub, need a brand ambassador? All was delicious!
