Nicko's - Melton

Stayed in Mowbray for a few days. Went to Nicko’s first night for quick dinner. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Lovely meal, nearly as good as my local in Saffron Walden! Maybe I’m biased. Will certainly visit again next time.

Needing a break on a long drive we spotted Nicko’s. Really impressed, nice food, good price and lovely people

The chips were so dry you could use them as sawdust to cover the floor of a rabbits cage. How they could sell these as edible I will never know. Half were bad, the rest could break your teeth.

Consistently great! Classic fish and chips, and more, since when I moved here. stars every time!

We visited here to grab a quick takeaway whilst on holiday. I can’t grumble much, the chips weren’t that great, lots of “bits” rather than full on chips. Overall it was ok but not one of the better chip shops we have visited.
