Ling Louie's Asian And Grill - Meridian

This Asian fusion restaurant is a definite success. I had the Seafood Hot Pot, and my wife chose the BiBimBop. Both dishes were outstanding. While the BiBimBop isn't traditional and isn't served in a bowl, it was still quite delicious.

I ordered two crab crunch rolls, which were very flavorful. I meant to try something else, but I enjoyed them so much that I ended up ordering a second round. I also opted for an Asian pear martini, which was delicious and refreshing. It felt light, and even though it doesn’t seem strong at first, it definitely packs a punch after you finish it. Martinis can be deceptive that way! My son ordered the sunset roll, which was fresh and came with more pieces than I expected (though it wasn’t part of the happy hour deal). He also tried the meatloaf. While I didn’t dislike it, it’s not something I would choose for myself. I’m glad I got to sample a bite—it was a unique and interesting option. Overall, both of our meals came to around $25, which I thought was quite reasonable. I’m pleased to have discovered a sushi place with a happy hour, and I will definitely return!

I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend, and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was delightful, the waitress was friendly, and the food was fantastic. I tried the Honey Walnut Chicken and enjoyed it so much that it's hard to think about trying anything else. My friend ordered the Beijing Duck Noodles and was very pleased with them as well. We also had the Chocolate Lava Cake with strawberries, which was delicious. The only downside is that I don’t know when I’ll have the opportunity to return to the Boise area again.

Have been here twice and both times the food we great. I don't eat sushi so I always order the Wok Dishes. Food is always fresh and delicious. Try the pear martini!

The customer service is wonderful and I love the decor. It made me feel very comfortable. The staff was friendly, without being over bearing.
