Basil Thai Bistro - Midland

Been here four times. Appetizers, soups, curry, noodles, fried rice, drinks it's always great! Excellent seasoning and spicy levels.

Authentic thai food. Crisp, clean, beautifully prepared. We chose a week night during the dinner hour and had to wait 10 min. For a table. Totally worth it. The food was delightful. They even have bubble tea! We will go back.

Mmmmm. Thai food. I love Thai food, and this place came highly recommended to us by friends. I was looking through their website as we waited for our food, and what I love about them is that they are family-owned (yay! Local! , and they've been around for about 35 years! Best of all, they had at least two of my favorite dishes I've ordered from other Thai restaurants! The other thing I love about this place is that they actually use fresh Thai peppers for spice instead of the dried (I prefer the fresh, I think it gives the dish more flavor that way . A word of caution: if you think white pepper is too spicy, you may want to stick to something no hotter than medium.....unless you're congested, then, by all means, order the Thai hot. For me, between medium and hot was just right!

Food is very good. Our waitress was pleasant even though she was very busy! I loved the Tom Yum vegetable soup and would have been happy with that as my meal instead of an appetizer!

Service was great, food was amazing (and spicy), and the atmosphere fits the name of the restaurant! We will be coming back!
