The Black Stump - Mildura

Would have missed it if not for a recommendation. Great pub with a great atmosphere. Great beers on tap as well. Well worth checking out.

Very casual bar/pub atmosphere personal large, eat simple but excellent lamm kebab starter excellent burger very good, monthly special very good we had several visits in our short time here, risotto was nice as my creamy, they make a middle cocktail, live...music I think only wowking very recommended

We dined at The Black Stump last night and it was very good. Starters were some antipasti and arancini coupled with an Italian Anise wine. For main course I had an excellent ragù while others had salmon, a pumpkin gnocchi and a kangaroo dish. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited not long ago, greeted by Diego who was an absolute gentleman and absolutely brilliant at what he does! Head Chef Jim Mcdougall always providing with brilliant food!! Such a great vibe and the ambience is great! If you're in Mildura I recommend visiting the new Italian styled Black Stump! You won't be disappointed!

Had a wonderful leisurely lunch today at the Black Stump. The feed me menu was fabulous and great value for money. We started with 3 appetisers and our favourite salt bush crisps. The Murray cod on sour dough was delicious. This was followed by squid salad, a light and refreshing dish. Pasta was a dish of farfalle with fresh Australian truffles and was a perfect example of fresh ingredients used to their utmost best. Then we had seasoned roast pork and finished with a light baked lemon soufflé. The new menu has an Italian slant but the food is definitely closer to fine dining. Can't wait to go back for more.
