We had dinner with friends and I have to fire that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and passion that the owners put in their craft definitely done with love and search of the products all of the highest quality with never trivial dishes. In Monte San Pietro there is a restaurant that could quietly stay at the same pace as other restaurants that are much more popular in the city. Congratulations we will definitely see you again!
I booked for our anniversary on a friend's advice! Great advice! Superlative food and beautiful presentation. Not to mention the excellent homemade bread and butter presented at the beginning of dinner! Price in line with the proposal. Definitely to come back.
If we talk about quality of products, chef's skill, atmosphere of the restaurant nothing to say, all at the top. Go and enjoy... While having spent a beautiful evening, I cannot exempt myself from expressing some considerations. The first criticism concerns the prices of the rates, in my opinion, quite high. You can't charge a starter or a first dish as if we were in the center of Bologna! we are in Calderino di Monte San Pietro who, with all due respect, is not NY. Now, that the research, the concept of the dishes and bla bla bla bla bla bla blah is to pay we agree but 16€ for the smoked mackerel with a velvet of topinambur seems excessive.... and the prices of the first dishes and the second ones are on the same line. Moreover the wine card has labels at no less than 26€ for wine that on the internet are available at 12€ the bottle therefore the embroidery is more than 100% ... too! Another consideration is the menu that has 5 seconds is already relocated. If two seconds clou of the duck and pig menu are not available for lack of raw material, you can not present me as an UNICA alternative a buffalo tartare! So the buffalo is easier to find than the duck? . That said the dishes we tasted were all great for which I only recommend to lower the prices of the courses and to recharge less on the wine.
