New Place Japanese - Mount Lawley

Despite the ridiculous name, the dining experience at this restaurant is quite good. Their food improves when dining in compared to takeout. The Bento box with Teriyaki chicken was average, but some patrons seem satisfied with it. One issue I noticed was the excessive packaging when ordering takeout, which is something they should address.

I absolutely adore this restaurant, and it's my go-to spot in the area. I've been coming here for months (almost a year), and I have always enjoyed their Bento boxes (especially the teriyaki chicken, karaage, and tofu). A standout for me is the "New Place Style Tofu." I haven't had the chance to try their noodles or ramen yet, but the quality of the food has been consistently excellent. I love this place so much!

A pretty good little local spot. I think most people get takeaway here as that side seemed pretty busy. The staff are polite and the food is good - my ramen was nice. Not the trendiest place with multiple flavours to choose but I got a pork ramen which had a lovely broth full of natural flavour. A great little local spot with an extensive menu and great prices.

We arrived around 7pm and the place looks deserted. Have to order and pay at the counter even if dining in. Bento boxes were tasty but they were a bit stingy with the jelly which were only half filled in the cup. Udon in soup that tasted like the 2mins noodle seasoning soup was something different but nevertheless tasty. Tempura was nice. Overall, a nice meal.

Picked up some awesome takeaway on a weekday. Got their agedashi tofu as entrée and katsu chicken curry bento. It was so generous and delish! The bento box was filled to the brim with two layers of chicken and they nicely separated the curry sauce to keep it all crisp. There was miso, yummy potato mash and a little jelly cup too. So full and very happy-in the entertainment card too!
