Sixty Grams - Mount Lawley

I hate to be the first and give 3 stars but this place doesn't tickle mi fancy wuth it's take on asian fusion.

Went here as part of a progressive dinner deal thought it was a great idea. Unfortunately it didn’t start well after being questioned, twice, about sitting at table before we ordered. Food was limited (probably due to the progressive dinner) and a bit on the average side. Like the food, drinks were limited to a beer or some form of sake didn’t hit the spot I’m afraid. Not sure about rest of menu but not on my go to list based on this.

Tried their curry here. It’s called kaigun curry which just tastes like normal Japanese curry. Wasn’t bad but also wasn’t to die for. Could get same at any place really.

The place is cute and welcoming. I like the lighting. The food could have been as nice as the decor. I had popcorn chicken with mayo and didn't like it at all. The JfC bao was not too bad but the chicken again could have been better with quality and flavour. Not going back for sure.
