Írjon visszajelzéstThis is the best Ryukyu restaurant in our 4 day trip in Okinawa. The restaurant serves large transitional Ryukyu food, bitter melon, beer, rice and fish. The Japanese garden in the middle of the building is so beautiful. Feel the Zen and enjoy my lunch. If you plan a trip to Okinawa, you need to put this restaurant on schedule.
クリスマスディナー (Kurisumasu Diinaa Christmas Dinner in city of Nanjō (translated literally means southern castle . The dish is unsurprisingly beautiful and flavourful as expected from Japanese cuisine. However, we tried a special delicacy called Umibudo (sea grapes , picture 2. It is a type of seaweed snack that taste slightly like nori seaweed with consistency of caviar. Picture 1: White tofu with anchovies. Picture 2: Sea grapes Picture 3: Fried squid Picture 4: Seaweed fritters Picture 5: Rafute, a Chinese influence dish, which is skin on pork rib stewed in soy sauce and brown sugar. Picture 6: Stir fried tofu and mustard leaf Picture 7: Getsuembou, a chinese rice porridge.
Pretty touristy and crowded joint near Shuri Castle, but it’s a cozy place nonetheless. Friendly staff, this place serves up some pretty good classic Okinawan dishes. A really good find!
A good place to try out the famous Okinawa trotters; BBQ pork was tender and melting in your mouth taste. Peanut tofu is quite something. Rice porridge was nourishing. Tuna steak and sashimi were also very good. We ordered way too much food ...
Nice food, sorry, did not like the okinawa soba so much, but enjoyed the Goya champuru. Had the good fortune of having a great view in the outdoor garden, and service was very fast. Will come again but try other items such as the pork ribs and squid ink soup. Loved the mixed rice that comes w the set! Total I spent 1760 yen. Good value.
