Cancun Mexican And Grill - Newport

Went there Sunday July 23, 2023 in the late afternoon inviting a big group of family. To start with service was slow, then appetizers came cold and tasting like leftovers. Then when we asked for a few empty plates, we got a plate with a dead little cockroach. When I asked for manager to talk to, he just looked at it as if it is ok and never apologized. Anyway we stayed and had the main course which was mediocre in quality. Also bathrooms are dirty.I am shocked at the poor quality of food, service and hygiene.

We walked in without a reservation and a group of 20 adults, 3 kids, and 1 infant. They were able to get us seated very quickly which was an amazing surprise. The food was hot and good. We had to ask for our sides and we only had one Server for the whole group. This made getting refills and drinks a lot longer. Overall a good experience and with this large group they did a good job.

Wow! The chips and salsa are dynamite!! I also had the huevos con chorizo, which was delicious! Add to that the amazing riverside view and great servers!!Food: 5/5

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here while visiting. We had a table outside right on the water with a beautiful view and enjoyed watching the sun set. We were able to get seated right away, service was excellent and quick. Everything came out promptly, food was great, and service was quick! This was a great place with a fabulous view.

Great view of the river and Cinci skyline from the large covered patio. Was a little concerned at first when it took 15mins for the waiter to bring us water but apparently recognized it and returned with complimentary queso guac. Food is delicious and go hungry as the portions are huge!Food: 5/5
