Mansion Hill Tavern - Newport

I stopped to take a quick lunch, and got the special tuna salad sandwich with fries. eating was great and perfect for the price. server was very nice and attentive. also I liked the terrace option! I would recommend it. too. I think that the fact that it is handicap friendly is also a plus that in the toilets they have a handicap bar!

We went to see a band play there, and the bar was hopping! Fast, efficient service from the bartender! It was a fun night! We will be back!!!

Good place for music. No longer serve food. You can bring food in.

I had not been to Mansion Hill for many years, since the Blue Lou days. I returned to check it out for old times sake. Still the same I remember: but MUCH LESS SMOKY! Same bartender, same sort of northern Ky crowd, middle aged and above. Band was great (Johnny Fink and Intrusion). Drinks are cheap, cheap cover. Place is small and rowdy... people dancing. Fun.
