Caldwell Diner - North Caldwell

The best part about the diner is how nice the managers and employees are. Every time we order takeout, whoever’s on the phone is so friendly. I’m happy to give a place like that my business over and over again!

The Brooklyn Burger served at this restaurant is fantastic, and the staff is exceptional. Highly recommended!

My wife, daughter and I were visiting colleges, and next up was Caldwell University. We had some time to stop for lunch and tried the diner. Free parking was available in the back. We were greeted by several employees as we came in and were seated. Service was prompt, and drink refills came without asking. Food was excellent. My burger was a nice size and my side order of seasoned curly fries was bigger than expected. I ended up taking them home for a snack. My wife and daughter also enjoyed their food. Would gladly return. Maybe my kid ends up at Caldwell and this becomes one of her local hangouts

Breakfast. Food and service both great. Same for dinner.
