Jo Jo's China Bistro(lake Charles)

Jo Jo's is my go to Chinese restaurant. Always get it to go. Lately I don't get what I ordered. Once I'm home it's to late!! Check it before you leave !!!! This has happened four times now. I'll go back but I'll check my food before I leave

They are a Chinese bistro, meaning all your American Chinese classics will be big portions and yummy sauces. No where in lake charles can you find a restaurant that is consistently on time if not early with their meal times. They work extremely hard all day long, the main guy up front can take 2 orders in person, 2 over the phone, and still seat and wait on tables I doordash here (over 200 orders last years from here) and because of the service for doordash, I choose to eat here if I want Chinese food and I live near napoleon and Ruth in sulphur I gladly keep jo jos warm in my hot bag and it's ALWAYS worth it

Unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of the food. I ate it way too fast. The restaurant was clean. They immediately waited us and set us down. We ordered an appetizer. It came quickly. The drinks were quickly refilled. The food came out quickly and fast. It was hot and fresh. The portion size is large. We ordered the house lo mein, steamed dumplings, Mongolian bbq and friend rice. Definitely a place we will visit again!

What a clean and nice place to eat Asian food! No buffet, which is great. You get a fine dining experience, and any dish you choose is delicious and filling. We love eating there and being able to hear each other speak.

The egg rolls are too small now. They used to be double the size that they are now. I would rather pay more to have the old ones than to suffer from the injustice of 'shrink-flation '. I haven 't seen this much shrinkage since a 50 year old man took a swim in the Gulf in February.
