Fish House - Oak Island

Wish I could give it 0 stars... Staff was the worst I have ever seen no customer service here,they are rude and neglectful. They charged my card with a 20% tip after we complained about the service (twenty minutes to order no water waiter didn't check on us ect. I called back to disputed they said this charge was mandatory which I doubt because it was exactly $20. Threatened to call the cops when we were telling them that we were disappointed with the service and told us they didn't want people like us eating there anyway and this was from the manager! I have never had a worse dining experience in my life.

Skip this place unless you want to be treated rudely. Food is overpriced and waiter left a lot to be desired. Don't even think about trying to order a hamburger at night even if you don't like seafood and you are only 1 out of a party of 8 getting charged a mandatory 18% tip.

This restaurant is truly fantastic! The menu offers a wide variety of options, and we've been dining here every year for the past 10 years. Everything we've ordered, from appetizers to entrees, has been amazing. The waitstaff has remained consistent over the years, and they are all exceptional. The view of the waterway is breathtaking! Occasionally, there may be a wait, but it's absolutely worth it.

Having lived in the area for years, we've sampled all the local dining spots, and without a doubt, The Fish House at the west end of Oak Island is the standout choice. The portions are generous and the food is delicious! Don't forget to save some space for dessert—your server will bring a tray stacked with an array of mouthwatering cheesecakes, cakes, and pies. Everything is absolutely delightful!
