Pete's Sweets - Ocean Isle Beach

We went to the subway next door for a light lunch and then enjoyed some ice cream at Pete's Sweets. The following day, we had to return for more! I highly recommend the chocolate moose tracks, banana pudding, strawberry, and mint chocolate flavors.

The dirt they do is delicious! The staff is usually very friendly. We assume that the Lord who served us was the owner. He wasn't so friendly and a little impatient. Even when we came home, we found the boxes to smoke on the outside and have caramel. NOT the way we wanted to present these gifts to friends.

Great selection and the treats were also good. The only problem I had was the girls behind the counter not too excited to help my wife and me. I understand everyone has a free day, but I wanted to try another place instead.

This charming little shop is the perfect place for all your ice cream, milkshakes, homemade fudge, and saltwater taffy cravings. They even have those fun candy dispensers filled with powder candy! My husband and I tried their milkshakes, and they allow you to mix different flavors, which was fantastic—so delicious! We enjoyed it so much that we returned a few days later to pick up some saltwater taffy for our neighbors and coworkers.

If you're really hungry, Pete's might not be the best choice for you. The delicious-looking fudge is hard to resist! The ice cream is just as fantastic as the staff. Can't wait to come back!
