This is a socially aware restaurant that serves the community and they get a star just for that. They 're very involved and care about the homeless. They have a, buy someone else breakfast option, which I did.Got pick up from Jessie Jeans for breakfast. Ordered pancakes with sunny side eggs and a side of ham. Just as advertised, home style cooking. Comfort food but not a greasy spoon. They 're on 25th Street in Ogden. The pancakes are huge and fluffy! I ate one of the 3. That 's all I could fit!Eggs were perfect. I was very happy and full.I ordered and paid on their website and got the pick up time. It 's so great that they have the option to pay with PayPal so I don 't have to pull out my card. They texted me saying when it would be ready and I was there waiting in my car.So I waited 45 mins they said then another almost 15. I went inside to check. They said you 're supposed to call and tell them you 're there to get your order. I thought they 'd text me when it was ready or bring it out (they ask for a description of your car . This is still new and everyone does it a little different but now you know how it works too.Later I saw that had emailed me and in that email it said to call when you arrive. So I was frustrated but now I can see they did try to communicate that. I 'm just not used to getting a text and email.I 'm not sure if it 's usually that much of a wait or not. Maybe I timed it bad, maybe it 's a busy time or Covid has wrecked havoc on things too (staff, supplies, etc . So I give extra leeway even when hangry. So order way ahead! They have indoor dining/tables. My order came in a brown paper bag with 2 Styrofoam boxes for the food, a packet with a fork, knife, napkin, salt/pepper packets, lots of butter, 2 things of syrup (I 'd ask for another . I wish I took a photo just because I like knowing what comes with the food. I would 've added another container of syrup. They could 've made it more clear but they were gracious but later I felt a little bad because of the misunderstanding. They offered to remake it, which was gracious of them. It was still warm and no need to waste good food!I 've always wanted to go here because I love how they care and are so loyal to our community. I want them to make it. Support this business :
Tanner was fantastic. After leaving Pig in a Jelly Jar, we decided to come here instead, and we're really glad we did. We were greeted right away and given water. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The customer service we received made the experience even better. The lattes were great, too!
What frustrates me is that I'd like the owners to update their hours on Google and Yelp, if they can. My roommates and I have been trying to visit for months, but our schedules are all over the place. Today was the first time we were all free, and when we arrived around 5 PM, we were so disappointed to find it was closed. We've been craving a garlic burger! I wish they would consider staying open until 6 PM on some days so we could make it there. That said, it's a great place with delicious food.
I had never visited this restaurant before, but I had heard positive reviews about it. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The staff was incredibly rude, and they seemed to lack the skills to prepare coffee drinks correctly. When I attempted to explain how certain drinks should be made, they became defensive and even suggested that if I didn't like their methods, I could go somewhere else. The food was mediocre at best. After reading other reviews, I understand why many people have chosen to stop coming here. The only redeeming quality I found was their effort to assist the community.
