Rovali's Italiano - Ogden

We were fortunate to discover this fantastic restaurant while returning to Salt Lake City after buying lottery tickets. The food, desserts, atmosphere, and overall vibe are simply out of this world! The owner, Alex, and the staff are incredibly friendly, and I can't wait to see what new dishes they'll have on the menu next time. Here’s what we had: - Spaghetti with house-made meat sauce, topped with a large meatball and grated Myzithra cheese, served with a side salad featuring their homemade Caesar dressing. - Garlic cheese bread - Pesto chicken fettuccine, drizzled with grated Parmesan, and accompanied by a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing. And the desserts? They were to die for—especially the Italian honey cake! This whole area and neighborhood are thriving, and it really makes me excited about the emerging Ogden scene. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. Upon arriving on a Saturday afternoon, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. Our waiter came over right away to take our orders. Since it was our first time there, we decided to try a bit of everything! We enjoyed an appetizer, three desserts, two entrees, and drinks—all for under $60. Remarkably, our food was served in less than 20 minutes. Throughout our meal, Alex, who was as sweet as our desserts, checked on us and made us feel like part of the family. It's rare for me to leave a review—whether good or bad—but this experience was too exceptional to go unacknowledged. I wholeheartedly recommend trying the Tiramisu and the Banana Brownie!

This restaurant always delivers a fantastic experience! The lasagna is outstanding, and the rolls are exceptional! Make sure to save room for dessert—the chocolate cake is a must-try! I also enjoyed a lavender martini, which was lovely. The staff is incredibly friendly, and be sure to say hello to the owner, Alex; he’s such a pleasure to talk to!

Order done and was happy surprised how fast my order was ready. No exaggeration when I say my order was done in ten minutes! It was also some of the best spaghetti I had in Ogden. Recommend this place to anyone looking for great Italian food.
