Írjon visszajelzéstI have dined at Oarweed three times in the past year, and each experience has ranged from fantastic to just okay. The level of service and food quality varies each visit. Sometimes there is a long wait for a table, while other times you are seated right away. The main attraction here is the beautiful waterfront view at Perkins Cove, which makes for a stunning backdrop while you dine. Timing your meal during sunset is a must for a special experience. The food can be hit or miss. Some dishes I've tried include seafood chowder (4/5), shrimp cocktail (3.5/5), and crab dip (6/5, but unfortunately removed from the menu due to the owner being too cheap to buy more crab - BRING BACK THE CRAB DIP!). The replacement, artichoke and spinach dip, was decent (3/5). Other dishes like the seafood trio (4/5), crab cakes (3.5/5), and blueberry beer (5/5) were enjoyable. Despite the inconsistent food quality, the picturesque setting alone makes it worth a visit.
This is the kind of restaurant that is vanishing slowly. It's authentic, genuine, and unapologetically emphasizes the quality of their food over ratings and reviews. We had an amazing experience and the best meal of our trip. Thank you, Oarweed. I highly recommend trying their lobster roll.
Great spot right at the end of the marginal cliff walk. We waited a bit to be seated because the place was so busy, but our seat was in a cozy corner with an amazing view of the water. The clam chowder was so creamy and delicious, the lobster roll was salad(it came with a bag of chip), and the blueberry pie was absolutely incredible. Their famous lemony dressing also totally livedup to the hype! It’s certainly not cheap, but I think it was worth it. We walked here but there is a parking lot next door (itcosts $20 to park tho)
One of our favorite places in Ogunquit. Seafood chowder is a must have, and they consistently have better lobsters than anywhere else.
What a great place. Not only is the food delicious but the host (owner? was so personable and helpful. Attitude is truly everything. Back to food… I had a bowl of the seafood chowder. Perfect! I recommend it over the clam chowder which I foundsignificantly under seasoned. The lobster roll is everything you want it to be. BIG chunks of lobster with just the right amountof mayo and seasoning. The haddock sandwich was equally delicious. Can’t wait to return.
