Gmg Chinese Bistro - Oro Valley

Food was underseasoned and bland. Fried rice was not fried. The spare ribs and the beef in the beef and broccoli was chewy. Crab Rangoon and egg rolls were okay.

Have always ordered the chicken fried rice here because it was so good with lots of chicken. Not anymore. Have heard the place is under new ownership. Maybe this accounts for the fat that the chicken fried rice is terrible dry, bland tasting, smaller quantity for higher price, chicken not browned, etc. We will not order from GMG again.

This is my favorite restaurant in Oro Valley.. always great food at good prices. The atmosphere inside is nice too!

Food was okay it use to be so good but I think they sold the place. The service was terrible they rushed us to order then got are order and never came back until we were done eating.

I hadn't eaten here for awhile and am so disappointed that I found I will go back. I ordered Kung pao tofu and it had NO flavor. If you've ever had tofu, you know that it needs seasonings/sauces to give it flavor. Well, this had none. It tasted like eating a sponge. I will go back to China Thai Combo. Their food is consistent and delicious. My husband wanted GMG, as we hadn't been in so long. Now we know.
