Canteen Lunch In The Alley - Ottumwa

My grandma used to take us here every weekend, as a child. We helped her on mail routes and it was how we were paid. A good memory I have as a child, love this place. We also came last year when we closed on our house. So many good memories

This is a maid right place. Has good food. Highly recommend it.

Not a lot of variety in menu items but it's not necessary when the food is so yummy. They're quick, accurate and make a person feel welcome.

Hadn't had a lose meat sonce I moved from Iowa 7 years ago.. It was as good as expected..The place is in an alley. Had to wait in line for a seat thats how many people were here.. Parking: Not a lot of parking spaces due to the amount of people..

This place is a gem. Major throwback to better times! Simple, cheap, friendly, and crazy fast if you want it to be. Randomly stopped here while passing through town, and will now probably find excuses to pass by again.
