Blind Barber Philadelphia

The one in New York is great. He needs work. When we came in, we were greeted by an employee with her shoes by rubbing her naked feet, she did not stand when she saw us and then asked us about our vaccination card. The drinks we ordered did not correspond to the drinks we received, they tasted terrible.

The blind barber was a great vibe! we arrived shortly after they opened, so it was not too busy. We were able to sit right at the bar and quickly order drinks. The drinks were delicious and the food was tasty (chicken tacos are highly recommended)

Amazing aesthetic. Drinks were just okay. A little unorganized but a nice time overall. Server was taking care of the whole upstairs and did an amazing job.

Overall ambience and place was very cool. Drinks were good, food options were limited but good. We were a table of 6 so there was automatically 20% gratuity applied which I felt the server took advantage of. Our server continually ignored us and was very stand offish and never brought out one of our food orders. When we asked about it he said he would get it, then brought the check and said nothing about the food that was never delivered. Everything was great except for the waiter. The hostess and others were friendly and accommodating.

For a speakeasy type cocktail bar their knowledge of cocktails, spirits and even cocktail glass varieties was astonishingly limited. We usually don’t know more than the bar staff. Our waiter was amazing though. He was friendly and accommodating.
