Írjon visszajelzéstI take pride in being a donut connoisseur, I've sampled the treats across the country. I would say it's BOLD for them to include Donuts in their name given their rather limited selection, both in donut variety (they only have cake donuts) and flavors. I only tried 2 donuts from this place, they were both AIGHT. The lemonade I had from here was also OK. I suppose the fried chicken is the real draw to this place, which I didn't try, but I might recommend changing the brand to Federal Fried Chicken given how strongly they rely on poultry imaging in their merchandise
The items might look colorful, but they are hyper filled with sugar and often taste the same on the inside. The venue is chillax to be able to hang, and the price is right, but I’m not sure the speciality of the donuts than elsewhere.
Love the new South St donut variety they just created. Delicious, positive first experience ordering the 3-piece chicken and donut meals. We sampled the plain, buttermilk and rubbed varieties. The server included 3 different dipping sauces (all good with some kick but not too spicy). The meals came with honey donuts which we devoured. The orders were ready in 10 minutes and the server brought it outside to us due to COVID. The freshness, flavor and texture of their donuts are worth the trip. You can give gift cards and there is some outdoor seating too.
The donuts were good but my experience was soured as I ordered half a dozen donuts and only got 5. I usually check but since the the box was taped and I was the only customer, I did not think it would be an issue. As the place was empty!!! The staff was also not the nicest and clearly not paying much attention. When I came in they were talking to their friends and completely ignored me. I am new to PA and this place was highly recommended but will not be coming back.
If you think you've had a fancy donut before, I can guarantee it'll pale in comparison to these. They're famous for their chicken, but do not sleep on their donuts! And the weirder the flavor sounds, the better it is. Trust me!
