Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Phoenix

I placed an order for a few dishes and a sandwich through their app. While the app is functional, it could definitely be more user-friendly. Additionally, there were some items listed as unavailable, but it didn’t clarify if that was because they were out of stock or if I had ordered too early for a dinner-only option. Upon receiving our food, I noticed that some portions were on the small side, especially considering the prices. I typically only order from here once or twice a year, but I feel like the prices have increased. The food was quite good—not the best grilled food I've had, but decent for a quick meal. I also noticed that even when you walk in, there’s just one line to wait in, which can be confusing. It would be helpful if there were clearer signs directing customers to the order pickup area.

I placed a larger order online, but when it was delivered via DoorDash, several items were missing. My wife called and spoke with the manager, who not only replaced the missing items but also included a dessert as an apology. To our surprise, the manager even came to our home in person. When my wife met her, she was incredibly nice and very apologetic. This is a perfect example of how a manager should handle things!

I've visited this restaurant a few times, and it's clear that the staff works well together. Their positive energy creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers, making it a pleasant place to spend time. And let's not forget about the delicious food!
