Tikka Shack Indian Grub - Phoenix

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I tried the Goan Vindaloo with basmati rice and vegetables, and it was just alright. However, the Samosas I ordered were excellent. I'm pleased to note that everything I chose was vegan, and there are plenty of vegan options available on the menu. The total for the appetizer and main dish came to about $17. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.

As someone of Indian descent, I approached this casual fast food Indian restaurant with some skepticism. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly flavorful chicken curry, delicious garlic naan, and generous portion sizes. The only minor drawback was the lamb kabob wrap; I found the addition of cheese a bit off-putting, as it masked the authentic Indian flavors. I believe the naan lamb wrap would benefit from being cheese-free since the chicken tikka sauce already delivers plenty of flavor to the wrap. The mango salad was vibrant and fresh, adding to the overall experience. In summary, it was a tasty and freshly prepared meal for a casual Indian fast food spot.

I’ve never actually dined in, but I frequently order from them via Uber Eats, and I have to say, every single time has been a 10/10! It's rare to find takeout that’s consistently this good. The food is delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, making it a great value. I’ve tried a variety of their dishes, and everything has been tasty! I really appreciate their deals and make the most of those, especially in today’s economy. It’s clear they take pride in their work, as I always receive exactly what I ordered, without fail. Their consistency is impressive!

Really amazing Indian food. Lots of saffron and little shreds of carrot in the bismati rice, and a more spicy tikka masala butter chicken than you get elsewhere. Perfect naan, too! 10/10Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes
