Fishcamp On 11th Street - Port Royal

Really cool spot. We were lucky enough to get a seat on the deck for a very warm November day. Tried the mussels. Definitely super creamy and cheesy sauce that would go great with anything. Mussels were cooked perfectly. Also tried the calamari. It was pretty standard calamari which I was expecting a little bit more than a standard batter with fairly plain marinara but overall it was cooked well and while I wouldn't get it again, it satisfied my calamari craving. I got the side salad with the basil vinaigrette which was quite delicious and put that with the fish tacos. The first bite I had of the fish was a little bit strong fish tasting But the rest of it was quite lovely. The flavors that they have paired together in this dish go nicely together. We were at the bar so we had fairly slow service because the bartender was waiting on lots of different tables. Everything, however, was clean. The bathrooms were nice. And we overall had a great time. I would probably come back again especially for the view. I would like to try some of their oysters and other items next time.

Awesome location for water views and relaxful eating. And if you have to wait for a table they have swings and outside games, too fun. We loved the fish tacos and daily fish sandwich special, loved them. I would skip the calamari, too much breading. Nice beer selection but no draft beer.

Better than my previous visits. Serving sizes increased. This picture is from a previous visit. This time my portion filled the bottom of my plate and was delicious as usual!

What a wonderful little waterside gem, I had the shrimp and polenta which was awesome and my wife had the baked flounder that must have been equally as good as I did not even get to taste it. Worth a stop if you are looking for seafood.

We had an amazing time here tonight the food was great, the staff was very patient with our big and rowing party. We had the fish tacos from the bar menu and the seafood risotto from the main menu. All meals were well worth every penny and portion sizes were plentiful. Thank you staff and management for your kindness in the treatment of our party.
