Richman's Ice Cream - PROSPECT PARK

Never disappointed. My first exposure to ?water ice? was at a Rita?s in Pittsburgh. I didn?t know the history behind the confection. I love to support local businesses. Whenever I?m in Philadelphia I try to get to Richman?s.

Never even ordered, the line was too long and the service was excruciatingly slow. Only 2 of the 4 service windows were manned though there appeared to be enough staff. Finally gave up and just bought some ice cream from the gas station across the street.

I really enjoy this little ice cream place!! Service is fast and customer service is pleasant. Ice cream is delicious! Pricing is a little steep, but it?s worth it. I?ve been here a couple of times and I still like it.

I have always been a soft serve ice cream kinds guy and driving past this place quite a few times I decided to try out Richman's. Such a treat to have once in awhile and this spot hit. Vanilla and Chocolate swirl classic is so bomb. Thier menu is insane and the sizes threw me off guard... the regular looked like a double stacked large! Holy..HOLY... HALLELUJAH!

It's always great. A little expensive but we'll worth it.
