Friendship - Railay Beach, Ao Nang

An authentic Thai experience. I visited almost exclusively both times Railay here, 2016 and 2022. Food is absolutely delicious, the view is wonderful. This is a family-run restaurant and all family members are really funny while friendly and hospitable. It's nice to work them together. Enjoy and take the local culture. The smoothies, Thai dishes and soups are all delicious. I've been through most vegetables and chicken dishes on the menu. Especially the Massaman Curry, Padthai and Tom Yamsuppe are things I ordered several times. It is on the eastern side of the island, and you can have a nice quiet and peaceful bag in the afternoon / beginning evening for a smoothie and meal. You will take with you if you have a quiet night in. They have free Wi-Fi, just ask! It is not as polished as the 5 star resorts on the other side of the peninsula. Does it need a renovation? Does that add to the charm? Absolutely If you want luxury, go to the beach and pay 5 times the price for the same thing on a fancier plate!

Food not the best. Juice not from fresh fruit. Also had problems with our order as well as neighboring tables orders.

I had friend rice yesterday which was not the best fried rice I’ve had in Thailand but the iced cappuccino I had was pretty good. The view is very nice though

The food was ok, unfortunately in Railay the quality of food is very low so this place is above average with 3 stars.
