These days it seems rather difficult to find a decent fish and chip shop, but this is definitely my favourite in the area. I ask for the chips to be well cooked, so they come out fabulously crunchy, just the way I like them. The batter on the fish is heaps better than many other places.

We've been going here for years and always loved their food. tonight the yiros both chicken and lamb had reduced in size by a third..... but cost remained same, still tasted yum but left the teenage sons still hungry. phoned the shop to ask what had happened but they blamed ths supplier of wraps and tried to tell us the filling was still the sam size. Poor response obviously think their customers are stupid, so guess they've now lost a group of customers!

I've been to the German Arms Hotel a few times now and have had good experiences each time.
