My selection for the best grill in the area. Some people have a better brisket, better sides, better whatever, but Thatchers always meets expectations about the board. And the sweet tea makes you hit your mom.

This is a really great place to eat BBQ! Their menu is loaded with all kinds of appetizers and the portions you get with your meal is more than plenty. They can only sit a few people at a time since they have a small dining room but it is well worth the wait.

Wow, wow! Tiny BBQ spot off the beaten path, well worth the few extra miles off the highway. Brisket sandwich was overflowing with cheese and juicy brisket. Fried green tomatoes were piping hot and a perfect combo of crunchy on the outside, mushy on the inside. Salad wasn't fancy, but it was topped with fried okra and more of that delicious brisket. Sweet potato tots are good but cooked in a lot of sugar, they're sweeter than I expected for a side dish. Homemade BBQ sauces were great and ready for you on the table, my favorite was just the regular house sauce.

This place was absolutely worth the drive from Dalton!!!! Quick fast and friendly customer service and the food was amazing even after a twenty minute ride home. I had the brisket spud and it was delicious, my sons had the grilled chicken black beans and corn spud, delicious and we got loaded tots... Everything was outstanding!!! And an enormous amount of food well worth every penny!!!! We will be returning again! Thank you!

I may be a bit biased, bit this place has the best BBQ. PERIOD. I always get the best service, if they don't have something on the menu, they will offer you something similar or better. This place is amazing!!
