Bistro 72 At Indigo East End

Great for a hotel restaurant. Food is good, service is friendly and diligent, portions are big.

Varied menu for lunch and we all loved our choices. Our server (Michael, I think) was terrific…warm, welcoming and helpful. We will be back!

Wonderful food, everything was delicious. Drinks were on point for the price. Small venu for a quick and quiet meal. Only downside was no matter how many times we wiped down the table it was permanently sticky, so much so that the paper menu’s were tearing apart if you put them down then tried to pick them up.

First, the live music provided was very good but LOUD the space is relatively small and the amps were very loud. We politely asked our server to ask the manager if the music level could be lowered, and nothing was done about it. It was very difficult to have a conversation with the other people at our table. The food we order the fried calamari as a starter fried beyond recognition; all batter, no discernible calamari. I ordered the stuffed shrimp special nice sized shrimp, with broccoli and brown rice, but the crabmeat stuffing was disappointing too much breading and gummy tasting. My wife had the salmon, which she enjoyed, and our friend had the shrimp tacos which looked good, good value at $18, and she said tasted good. I would recommend Bistro 72 but I would strongly caution about the loud music, and to be selective about what you order. Stick with the basics, be hesitant about any specials that may be disappointing.

Excellent service and food. Aye outside and it was great. Totally recommend.
