Írjon visszajelzéstWhen people say that Saratoga has lost his charm, bring them to this delicious little den to prove them wrong. The food is fresh, delicious and tastefully prepared. I had the falafel packaging and every element (wrap, falafel, hummus, salad) exceeded my expectations. The part was good and received for $1 more You really excellent Pita chips and a drink. Decor is welcoming and authentic, but cozy with a cafe table and bar seat around the circumference - it is not intended for fine food, but it is perfect for a quick lunch or a great takeaway picnic. The staff was attentive and relaxed and they gave me a delicious Falafel sample and apologised for the waiting that was not long. I recommend Falafel Den!
I visit this place at least 2 or 3 times a week. Their grilled chicken salad is to die for! Super juicy and healthy. I don’t leave reviews often but it’s too good not to. The owner is a very nice Syrian guy who sees almost every plate before it’s given to the customer. Well done
Excellent Mediterranean food. If you want authentic, this is it. The manager is a wonderful guy from the middle east (whom my wife describes as hot ń steamy , whatever that means and all the recipes have been in his family for generations; it definitely shows (though it may not be suitable for a conventional American palate, if one is willing to give truly fine foreign cuisine a chance there will be only gratitude and nourishment . Small but cozy, with a lot of character concerning the atmosphere. Prices normal. Staff more than accommodating. My one complaint is that they only have bottled water and canned soda for a beverage, I would like if they had some Mediterranean tea or juice, anything with flavor and without bubbles. So, it 's an original place with great food and service. It has something for anyone: vegan, vegetarian, or carnivore (the lamb is especially excellent . For anyone looking to get outside the box for a good meal, here 's a great option.
This is the second time I ordered from them and it was not good. 1st time was great, my coworker I greatly enjoyed it but this time the falafels were dry almost crumbly in the mouth, hummus had an odd taste from how heavy the garnish spice had been sprinkled and the pita was so soft it wasn't holding up to the gyro at all, almost dissolving as we tried to eat. However the price for the amount you get is very reasonable, and I'm hoping that it was an off day in the kitchen. We will give it a 3rd try because of how great the first order was.
Wandering around downtown, saw the Words VEGAN on the building and got excited...went in and ordered take out. There was one woman working there and she seemed very overwhelmed, it was busy. She messed up a few orders and I felt bad for her. We waited outside for 45 minutes, for food that didn’t even need to be cooked, but because she was overwhelmed, we were patient. Got the food back to our hotel, the salad was tasteless, the hummus was gritty, not smooth... the eggplant had so much garlic in it I couldn’t eat it, and the falafel was like fried sawdust, it was so dried out. Sorry but a long wait for a very terrible meal. Whoever owns this restaurant needs to give this poor woman some support too...how can one person run a restaurant.
