The bartender has a great memory for names, especially for regular customers. Even after some time has passed, they still remember them well.

The service was extremely slow. I nearly gave up and walked out without paying while waiting for the bill. Unfortunately, I noticed two staff members on their phones, seemingly ignoring me. Eventually, I had to approach one of them to request my bill. I recommend going to Thistle instead; it's a much better experience!

Delicious classic comfort food presented with a professional touch. My partner and I both ordered flatbreads, and we were very impressed. The service was efficient and friendly as well. We'll definitely be back!

We have eaten there six or eight times over the last three years. Simple menu, food is hot and quite good. The atmosphere is pleasant, the servers are excellent.

Ordered a pasta dish that was insanely overcooked and a shepherd pie. The shepherds pie contained prime rib which was hard meat that smelled wildly of pork fat despite there being no bacon in the dish that we know of. A further perusal of the menuyielded that the prime rib was only served on Sundays, so these Friday evening prime rib chunks could have been almost a weekold. Two stars because service is friendly and drinks are surprisingly good.
