George's Lakeview Cafe - Sun City

Our server, Trenton, was excellent—he took our order promptly, delivered our food and drinks, and was polite throughout the meal, making sure everything was correct. When the food arrived, however, my mother was surprised to find that her liver was so rare that there was blood on the plate. She politely asked Trenton if it could be cooked a little longer, and he was very apologetic and took it back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, when it returned, the liver was horribly overcooked. It was difficult to gauge just how overcooked it was because the onions piled on top obscured it. My mother ate what she could, but by the end of the meal, she wanted to speak to the cook. Unfortunately, the cook had left during a shift change, so we’re not sure if the manager will follow up with my mother tomorrow. Despite this issue, I want to commend Trenton for handling everything perfectly. He didn't make excuses and remained polite throughout the entire situation. Additionally, all the other dishes we ordered were well-cooked and delicious. While it's unfortunate that my mother’s dish was both undercooked and then overcooked, we frequently dine at George’s Café and I don’t think this experience will deter us. I do hope, though, that the manager reaches out to my mother.

We ordered the Eggs Benedict, while my wife chose a different dish, and we also added pancakes and French toast. I swear, everything was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Thank you!

Out of a party of five, only one person left satisfied. The chicken quesadilla was enjoyable, especially with MIL. However, the pork tenderloin, cod sandwiches, and Reuben were disappointing. The service was average at best.

The catfish here is the best I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Sun City area.

My wife and I visited for breakfast this morning, and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be returning soon!
