Village Vine, Wine Bistro - SWARTHMORE

Get the mushroom Swiss burger... It's a monster, and one of the best burgers I have had in a long long time.

Charming place I had the best burger I have had in a LONG time. Food was excellent! So nice to have a neighborhood bistro with a bar!

We felt like it’s just an another restaurant. Nothing special. Menu is very cheese heavy. Nothing unique.Server had a hard time remembering only one special of the day.

Under new management?We made New Years Eve dinner reservations 3 weeks before. The night of we received atext our 5 pm table was ready. Our reservation was for 7 pm. I called and they offered us the Bar or outdoor table in 40 degrees next to patio heater. Needless to say, our New Years Eve dinner plans were quickly ruined. We loved this restaurant but thinkin they are overwhelmed?! And new ownership??Not sure if we would attempt to make reservations again here.
