This local restaurant serves with humorous flare. The fried chicken is an attempt. Start with each of the cheesey pommes and finish with one or all delicious cakes. The burgers and coffee were Bland. We were pleasantly overwhelmed with amazing service from Tanya, thank you!

This is a good place for the American basic price. Nothing beautiful, but the quality of food is pretty good. And very cheap. Two adults (no drinks) $40 with appetizer. The mozzarella sticks were good for an appetizer talking about it. We had a few melt sandwiches for the main course and they were well done. Not burned, but also quite crispy. So just the right amount of cooking time. For a good lunch this is definitely better than a quick meal. Unfortunately no breakfast all day, but one of the melts is an egg and cheese with bacon or ham. And apparently there are pancakes during the day when you long for breakfast items in the afternoon. On the back there is a large parking lot.

A jewel of a restaurant with a large menu in historic Thumont, Virginia. Her fried chicken (married, baked, and fried gravure) won first place in the state competition. Make sure to place the baked goods with soft ice on top. Authentic country cooking with cheerful staff. A pleasant and filling experience!

Good food, good service, fair prices. Apparently feel a favorite of locals with a hometown.

Comfy atmosphere newly decorated and very clean. Food was so good, their Broasted Chicken meal was delicious.
