Shamrock - Thurmont

Stop for an early St. Patrick's Day dinner and as always we were not disappointed! Excellent beef, cabbage, green beans and red potatoes. A delicious meal with her amazing Irish toffee pudding! I usually get something from the seafood menu, but today I went for traditional Irish fare. Very recommended!

We dine here several times a year and absolutely love the ambiance, the friendly service, and the seafood dishes on the menu, which come with fresh vegetables sourced from their garden when in season. The desserts are indulgent and perfect for sharing, especially when paired with a final cup of Irish coffee served in a charming Shamrock cup that you can take home. Each meal is a delightful experience, and we always leave with a special memento from their gift shop to remember our visit.

I brought my mother for mothers. My first time and loved it. Shepards Pie was amazing. I have a free shrimp cocktail as he was not ordered before we got our food. Service was friendly and welcoming. Will eat as often as I can do the ride!

A fantastic spot for an excellent meal! It is slightly more expensive than your typical restaurant, but definitely worth the price.

Nick, Sarah and I had nice lunch here. The kids menu was excellently proportioned. The kids ate it all leaving room for cheesecake. Theirs were plain but mine had delicious fresh blueberries which were locally source no doubt.
