There wasn't a long wait, and the food was tasty. While the cleanliness could be improved, it was still quite good for a fast-food restaurant.
We just visited the KFC on West 21st, and I must say, Jonas took our order and did an outstanding job. He was fast and friendly, making the experience enjoyable. I was really impressed, especially considering there were only two employees working.
Here’s the deal: the food is decent, so let’s move on from that. I’ve been a sporadic customer of KFC for over a decade, and my first job was at a KFC. You know what usually comes with almost every menu item? Biscuits. And you know what’s incredibly difficult to get? Sauces in general, but specifically honey. No one wants a plain biscuit. KFC, you’re wasting the biscuits you make if you don’t provide honey or butter alongside them. If you’re not planning on giving out honey, then don’t bother including a biscuit. Or take a page from some other chains and slather the biscuits in honey before handing them out. If an order comes with biscuits, there should definitely be honey in the bag. And if a customer specifically asks for honey, there absolutely needs to be honey included. If I request KFC sauce, hot sauce, and honey, I’m not expecting to dig through my bag to find 2 KFC sauces, 8+ hot sauces, and no honey at all. Hot sauce doesn’t belong on biscuits. This is just odd. Nobody wants a dry biscuit or a spicy biscuit. The only reason your customers skip the request for honey is because they mistakenly believe it will come with their biscuits. This applies to ALL KFC LOCATIONS. Stop wasting your biscuits if you’re too stingy to offer a simple, inexpensive honey sauce. Thank you.
