Oriental Pearl - Topeka

Took mom in law here just over a week after father in law passed so we were looking for something a little special and this place that did not disappoint! Wonderful crab ragoons and the spring rolls were amazing. MIL and husband had pepper steak and said it was yummy. I had garlic pork and it was really good as well. We will be back!

I'm sitting here right now and I couldn't wait to post a five-star review. This place is spectacular! I got the Guobao Meat dinner and my friend got the Sesame Crispy Steak and...absolutely phenomenal. And those chicken kabobs! I'm coming back just for those alone.

Tried this place for the first time today! We loved the atmosphere, the food, service and the tea, what a great addition with cute tea pots! We will be back!

Egg drop soup: 4/5: Maybe a little thicker than what I'm used to, but nothing to derail the taste. Chicken Kabob : 5/5: Tender on the inside while crispy with a jerked seasoning on the outside. Unbelievable! Wontons: 4/5: Shell was crispy (maybe a little too much? , but the inside was delectable. Sesame Crispy Steak: 5/5: No words to describe. Guobao: 5/5: Even less words... How is this so good!?! Fried Rice: 4/5: Great template dish. A little salt/pepper/sauce does well. Tamari sauce instead of soy +1 OVERALL SCORE: 28/30 Bravo, Pearl. Highly recommended. I will return for more.

I can't emphasize how fresh the food is! Easily the best Chinese I've ever had!
