Lucky Wishbone - Tucson

I love Lucky Wishbone! Grew up with one down the street. I love the shrimp, garlic toast, and fried chicken. Good eats for fast food.

I took a friend here for their birthday and it was dry, gross, and flavorless. The fries were stale. I ordered a family size side of jalapeno poppers and got 4 tiny hardly coated jalapenos.

I just got their large onion rings for a snack to share in the car. They were very crunchy with full rings of onion inside. Perfect and tasty, without tasting like everything else they serve there.

They were clean and wearing masks and gloves. We had combo steak fingers and shrimp family feast. Awesome food still. It has been three years since we have had takeout. I feel safe going there and love the food. People were so friendly and courteous. Thank you for the food and sanitary facilities. We will come back soon as we live in Cochise county

Lucky Wishbone is a Tucson institution. I've had good experiences at every one I've been to. This location is clean and well staffed. The food is consistently good, if you like fried food. Their shrimp is especially good, those and the steak fingers. Every meal is comes with fries and their signature garlic Texas toast. A lot of people don't realize that you can also order a grilled cheese sandwich made with either plain Texas toast OR get wild and get one with the garlic toast. Yum!
