Inside, I discovered another entrance by the patio area, which adds to the pleasant ambiance. I ordered the carnitas burrito, called "Burrito Mucho," for $9.75. It was fantastic, filled with rice, beans, and plenty of flavorful pork. As a nice touch, it came with a few chips served on a ceramic plate, along with real cutlery, which is quite rare for a small taco shop. The seating options include several tables inside, as well as metal furniture under umbrellas in a quaint side courtyard filled with trees—you almost forget you're at a gas station! You place your order at the counter, and the friendly staff brings it to your table. They also serve a hot, fresh salsa with a mix of green and red, and I was generously given four large solo cups of it. The menu offers breakfast all day, along with handmade Angus burgers and grilled fish tacos. I can't wait to come back for more!

Their food is consistently OK and I do love their red enchilada sauce. I 've ordered a side of guacamole before today and it was a decent sized portion for $2.00. Today, it was the size of a salsa cup. When I called to ask about the guacamole and size of the portion, he remarked that, We 're training new cooks and they don 't know. The owners are expanding and I don 't control the prices. The good news is that I won 't be as lazy about my Mexican food and drive an extra mile for some excellent food vs a convenient, mediocre experience.

One of my early childhood memories involving food was when a friend's mom who lived down the street made tacos fritos for all the neighborhood kids. They were so delicious. When I saw them on the menu here, I knew I had to order them. The staff at Papas Locos did not disappoint!

This is a restaurant in a gas station and I was pleasantly surprised by how good their burger was. Service was fast and the burger tasted great! I'm glad I gave it a chance.
