This restaurant was delicious, too bad I live 2 hours away or I'd be coming very often. One of the best burgers I have ever had and they even have a salad bar. 10/10 I would definitely recommend Vegetarian options: They have a salad bar. Great place to eat when by wheeler tx. I'm going through all couple months and today my first stop at maxeys. I'm sure I'm back. great service, salatable, and smashed.

Went on recommendation of someone in town. They mentioned the salad bar and it caught my attention. However, thr salad bar consisted of 3 pre made salads (macaroni, rotini and broccoli), lettuce, grape tomatoes, pickled okra, cheese, and dressings with a pepper cucumber mix that looked like it should be its own salad, but wasn't (this was very odd).The chicken fried steak was ok. My friend had the hamburger steak and said it was cold, after we waited over 30 mins to get our food. The hostess and the waitstaff have a lot to be desired.Would not go back.

Great place. They have a wonderful salad bar! The employees were very nice. Food was good.
