Beachcomber - Yorktown

Husband and I have been looking for a place to replace our local breakfast place since the move from California. I think we found it! Had beef hash and yaki manda (Bef dumplings) both good. Hubby also had French toast. As a smoker, we didn't find it overwhelming with the smell. Nice to have a smoke and a drink was a very long time.

Beautiful little place, we were the only customers when we ate and it was very charming. Our waitress was wonderful and we were never from drinks.

My favourite place, restaurant or bar. The staff is friendly, drinks are cold and cheap. Leisure pool tournaments and live entertainment keeps it unique.

My 4-year-old daughter ordered a small grilled cheese with chips, but she wasn’t hungry, so I ended up finishing it myself. We ordered one Coke, one chocolate milk, and one water. The total came to $44.60, which felt steep for the meal we received. It seemed more like a $25 meal. While I enjoyed the food, I don’t think it justified the price. For that amount of money, I could have had a much more substantial meal at a place like Texas Roadhouse. Overall, it was a very simple dining experience with nothing particularly special about it.

The ppl were nice enough but the place wreaked of smoke throughout and the food was just so so, not that great. Actually it was really greasy which l didn't expect especially the breakfast biscuit. :-O Nothing particularly remarkable about this place. I suppose if you're looking for cheap food/drinks and you don't mind leaving with the smell of smoke on you... this may be your spot.
